Profile

Tony has over a decade of experience in commercial real estate appraisal and property assessment appeals, with extensive expertise across all major asset classes including development land, retail, office, industrial, and multi-family strata and rental properties. He has developed particular specialization in the valuation of development land and master planned communities.

​

In recent years, Tony has been closely involved in property assessment appeals, contributing to aggregate reductions of $500 million in 2024 and $2.5 billion in 2025. This work reflects his in-depth knowledge of the Assessment Act, relevant case law, and historical PAAB decisions, as well as his strong understanding of current real estate market conditions. Combined with rigorous valuation analysis, this background has enabled him to support effective appeal strategies and deliver meaningful results.

Tony is also accepted as an expert witness before the Supreme Court of British Columbia and Property Assessment Appeal Board. Tony is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, which enables him to effectively serve a broad range of clients and stakeholders across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
